American Sign Language 2 goes beyond introductory ASL signs. This course helps students form structured sentences and explores how expressions can enhance signs to have meaningful conversations. Students will learn to communicate in everyday situations while learning vocabulary for descriptions, directions, shopping, and dealing with emergency situations. Furthermore, the course will teach students about the Deaf Community, culture, and language. Students will learn about sequencing, transitions, future tenses, and will be able to tell a story, and ask questions. This course requires use of a camera (cell phone, table, or computer camera), screen capture software, and simple video editing software.
